At Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA on September 12, 2014, a young boy asks Neil DeGrasse Tyson if he believes in God.
The young seeker is no doubt at a very impressionable age, and he identified himself as Catholic. Did Neil treat this question with tact and delicacy? Do you think Neil answered him well?
I appreciated his response and likely it was with the hope that his audience would truly listen. Think on it. Digest it. And use their young minds to think rationally about the world that they live in.

My main impression of the video, however, was that it looked like Neil really had to go to the bathroom! At least that is what that body language would have meant for me =)
No, I couldn’t hear well what the boy said except when asked if he believed in the Christain God, he answered the “Catholic god”, not realizing that’s pretty much the same thing (albeit with doctrinal differences).
The kid said that he had to go.
