Life after the age of 40 is very different from the early adult years. Besides the obvious and rather depressing changes to our bodies (damn it!), our perspectives often change. Life isn’t as black & white as our young naive eyes originally thought.
I started this blog in 2014 as a cathartic outlet for my journey out of religious faith. I raised 5 kids with my first wife. Unfortunately, we are no longer together, and my departure from the faith played a role.
I’ve been employed as a director of technology, and I started this blog with a focus on my journey with the Christian faith after the bombshell when my oldest son declared he was an atheist. While a majority of early writings here are related to the Christian faith, you’ll also find a hodge-podge of posts about technology, relationships, DYI projects, Excel spreadsheets and music. .
